5 Nursery Organization products from Ikea

I have quickly learned that it’s super helpful to be as organized as possible when you have a baby, because it’s not as easy to spend time searching for things or cleaning up messes!

We’ve been using our nursery for five months now, and I’m still so happy with the furniture and layout we chose, and wanted to share a few things we purchased from Ikea that have made our lives easier (and more organized!)

1. The Hemnes Dresser

We thrifted this one, but it was in really great shape, and holds so much! It’s also the perfect height to be a change table and comes with hardware to secure the dresser to the wall. I have seen this in so many nurseries, and I totally get why!

2. Aurdal Closet System

This closet insert looks similar to the Pax system, but is cheaper and looks prettier in my opinion! It was also super easy to install and customize. We keep all of Daisy’s clothes in here, and use the dresser to store diapers and other baby gear. I love how the closet looks with the doors off, and it’s just so easy to keep organized.

3. FLISAT Shelves

These shelves are also a common nursery staple, and so customizable! I love the natural wood they come in, but I decided to add some cane webbing and paint the sides of ours white to spice them up a bit. These are perfect for storing books or small toys, and look great in a stack of two or three, or lower to the ground for little ones to easily grab from.

4. EKENABBEN Shelf

This shelf fit our small space perfectly, and was super affordable. The shelf part is aluminum, so it’s super easy to clean. The Ekenabben works great for low toy storage, and would look so good in a play room with multiple shelves beside each other for a fun Montessori setup.

5. Buskbo Plant Stand

I love this rattan shelf so much! It’s supposed to be for plants, but little toys look SO cute in it. It’s perfectly fun and whimsical for a nursery, while still being neutral! It’s a great price too if you’re looking to add some natural elements into your space.

Do you have any of these in your home? Which ones are your favourite?
