Powder Room Refresh

Finally getting around to posting about our latest project, which was our little builder-grade powder room! This room gets a ton of light, and it really accentuated the beige walls, so it was time for a little glow up! We pretty much tackled this in a weekend, and we’re so happy with how this little space looks now!

Before

When we moved in, we swapped out the builder grade square mirror for an ikea Stockholm mirror, but I didn’t love the size of it compared to the size of the sink, and it just felt too big for the tiny room. We have also been slowly painting our house to cover up the bad quality beige, so that was a must for this refresh! I also wanted to add some interest to this tiny space, and thought some peel and stick wallpaper and a cute gallery wall would be the perfect addition!

After

The white paint we used was Ultra White by Valspar, and we partnered with Opposite Wall to try out their new Peel and Stick wallpaper. We chose the Carnival print pattern, and I love the fun vintage look of it. This was our second time installing peel and stick wallpaper, and while there are always some struggles with uneven walls, it was pretty easy to install.

We also decided last minute to get a new vanity that had a bit of storage and found this one at Home Depot for under $200! We were also gifted this stunning mirror from umbra, and I just love how it looks in the space.

For the other wall, I wanted to do a small gallery wall that you would be able to see when you look in the mirror, and we chose some really fun prints and frames from Opposite Wall.

Overall we’re so happy with this space. It was a quick project in a tiny space, but definitely made a big impact!

Cheers!

Julie
